Children who have known nothing other than dental surgeries geared towards adult patients are delighted and relieved to find dental professionals who take them seriously, treat them with respect and believe that even a trip to the dentist can be fun. Our sedation team are not only great with children they are also expertly trained professionals with a genuine passion for dentistry.
Dr Will Botha
Dr Will Botha, Originally from South Africa, qualified as a medical doctor at the University of Pretoria, South Africa in 2001.
Will moved to the United Kingdom in 2003 and has been involved in medical sedation since 2005. His experience covers the spectrum of both dental and surgical procedures under sedation for both adults and children.
In 2008 Will completed a post-graduate diploma in sedation and pain control at the University of the Western Cape, South Africa. This together with up to date training in Advanced Life Support and Advanced Paediatric Life Support, ensures that he has both the theoretical knowledge and practical experience to lead the sedation team at Toothbeary Practice Richmond in a competent, caring and proficient manner.
Will is married with 2 small children and has worked with the Toothbeary team since 2010.
Recovery Nurses
Our recovery nurses are all qualified nurses with additional qualifications in intensive care. Their caring, yet truly professional approach supports every dental procedure carried out under IV sedation.
