Staff in the Toothbeary team update and develop their skills by continuous professional development, training and supervision.

Toothbeary Dentists...

Children who have known nothing other than dental surgeries geared towards adult patients are delighted and relieved to find dental professionals who take them seriously, treat them with respect and believe that even a trip to the dentist can be fun. Our dentists are not only great with children they are also expertly trained professionals with a genuine passion for dentistry.

Dr med dent Nicole Sturzenbaum

Ever since starting as a dentist I have loved working with children, they have always fascinated me and working with them is great fun. I believe all children should grow up with a healthy smile. I also believe that when having dental work children require special treatment both psychologically and medically. It really is wonderful to work with children and educate them about the importance of life-long oral hygiene.

Whilst completing my training for children's dentistry in Germany, I realised that the skills needed to treat children in the right way can only be acquired in a child only dental practice and since 2001 I have worked exclusively with children.

When I moved to the UK I was amazed by the shortage of private, child focused dental practices. As a result of this shortfall, I decided to open, together with Dr Cheryl Butz, my own children's practice.
